Prof. KAWARABAYASHI Ken-ichi won the Humboldt Research Award at Alexander von Humboldt-Foundation

This award is an international academic prize established by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, an international academic organization supported by the German government. It is granted to researchers in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences who have made significant contributions that will leave a lasting legacy and are expected to continue making advancements at the forefront of their disciplines.
The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation grants up to 100 Humboldt Research Awards annually to internationally renowned academics from abroad in recognition of their entire academic record to date.
Academics whose fundamental discoveries, new theories, or insights have had a significant impact on their own discipline and beyond and who are expected to continue producing cutting-edge academic achievements in future are eligible to be nominated for the award.(※1)
