TOKYO - The Intellectual Property & Science business of Thomson Reuters, the world's leading source of information for businesses and professionals, today announced a collaboration with Japan’s National Institute of Informatics (NII) to connect data from KAKEN, the awards database of Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI), with the Web of ScienceTM, the premier platform for scientific and scholarly research. This initiative will allow Japanese researchers and institutions to better evaluate research performance by creating a table aligning KAKENHI categories with journal articles indexed within the Web of Science. |
