Title:

Scientific information, digital sovereignty and AI

Abstract:

In the context of the growing importance of the AI for science movement, the need for sovereign corpus of scientific information has never been more crucial. This can only be achieved if research organization have ambitious scientific information policies, including open science, coupled with sustainable infrastructures. Taking the examples of France and Inria, I will show the latest developments in this respect, with new infrastructures for publication content management and a national initiative to group together research teams specialized in AI and NLP to carry out research on such content. Possible path for international collaborations will also be outlined.
