Talk on "An Algebraic Geometry Approach to Viewing Graph Solvability" by Prof. Tomas Pajdla (Czech Technical University in Prague)
We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming seminar by Prof. Tomas Pajdla (Czech Technical University in Prague) titled:"An Algebraic Geometry Approach to Viewing Graph Solvability" Everyone interested is cordially invited to attend!
Title:
An Algebraic Geometry Approach to Viewing Graph Solvability
Abstract:
I will explain the viewing graph solvability problem in structure from motion and algebraic approach to its solution. A viewing graph is a mathematical structure where nodes are associated to cameras and edges represent the epipolar geometry connecting overlapping views. Solvability studies under which conditions the cameras are uniquely determined by the graph. I will review and compare our previous work on viewing graph solvability and present currently the most successful approach to analysing the solvability problems based on Algebraic Geometry.
