Announcements and other information pertaining to LIFULL HOME'S Dataset will be distributed via a user mailing list:

Changing Group Members and Other Statuses after Provision of Data
Please contact the IDR office in advance if you would like to add a person belonging to a private company to the research group (including members who will not use the dataset), or if a member of the research group (including members who do not use the dataset) would like to make a close connection with a private company, such as in conducting joint research with a private company or accepting a large donation from a private company. Please understand that LIFULL may decide to terminate your usage of the dataset depending on the company and their involvement in these cases.
References to the Data on Research Results
As stipulated in the LIFULL HOME'S Dataset Terms of Use, we ask that you clearly state in your publications and presentation materials that the results are based on an analysis of the dataset.
Metadata of the dataset is made available at the DSC Reference Portal. Please see "How to cite (example)" and "How to acknowledge (example)" on the page below for an actual description of citation and acknowledgment.
Collecting Research Results
As stipulated in the LIFULL HOME'S Dataset Terms of Use, we request that each year you submit a utilization report about research activities using this data and a copy of publications. Around March, we will send you an email with instructions on how to submit these documents.
We ask for your cooperation in submitting this report, as it not only serves to inform us about how the data is being used, but acts as important evidence helping IDR continue its activities.
When publishing your research results, etc. to the media, please send notification to the IDR office.
