1. Workshop venue
Shonan-Village Center. ?We stay at an accommodation of the center during the workshop.

There are a super market (Motomachi UNION 10am – 7pm) and a convenience store close to the venue.

2. Travel to the workshop venue from airports
There are two international airports around Tokyo: Narita international airport and Haneda international airport.
The access to the Shonan-village center from these airports is summarized here.

From Narita international airport to the “Zushi” rail-way station (JR逗子駅)?:
By JR Narita Express heading for Ofuna. Change at Yokohama station to JR Yokosuka Line. Get off at JR Zushi station (approx. 2 hours).

From Haneda international airport to the “Shin-Zushi” rail-way station (京急新逗子駅):
By Keikyu Haneda Airport Line. Take an ?Airport Express train heading for “Shin-Zushi.”?Get off at Shin-Zushi (60 min. approx. from Haneda airport).
Or By Keikyu Haneda Airport Line. Change at Keikyu Kamata station to a Keikyu Line train heading for Misaki-Guchi.?Change at Kanazawa Hakkei station to a Keiyu Zushi Line tain heading for Shin Zushi.?Get off at Shin-Zushi (60 min. approx. from Haneda airport).

The closest rail-way stations to / from the Shonan-village center:
In front of JR Zushi station (JR逗子駅) or ?Shin-Zushi station (京急新逗子駅), you can take the following buses to move to the Shonan-village center at No. 1 stop in their bus terminals. (both approx. 30 min)
- Bus bound for “Shonan Kokusai Mura” (line 16) :?(葉山大道経由?湘南国際村(逗16)) [time table], 340 JPY (12:53, 13:47, 15:33, 16:41, 17:54, 18:41, 19:23, 20:05, 20:47 on Sunday) or
- Bus bound for “Shonan Kokusai Mura Center” (line 26) (三浦半島中央道路経由?湘南国際村センター(逗26)) [time table], 380JPY
Buses come basically every hour.
Please get off at the final stop : “Shonan Kokusai Mura Center Mae” (湘南国際村センター前).

3. Weather
In November, it is changing from Autumn to Winter. It can be chilly (less than 10C) in the early morning. ?We recommend you to bring warm clothes. Weather forecasts for Yokohama city is available here.

4. Money
1 USD = 78 JPY (10 Oct, 2012). You can pay ?by credit cards at stations, and most of super markets and convenience stores. Cash is also necessary to pay for bus, and buy small things. Coca Cola (500ml) is 150 JPY. A pack of Sandwiches is 200 to 250 JPY. Big Mac combo (with french fry and soft drink) is ?about 650 JPY. ?Sushi combo is ranging from 1000 JPY to 2500 JPY (or more), depending on the grade. Taxi fare starts with about 710 JPY for the first 2km, and being added with 90JPY every 0.3km.
