    Dissertations featured in Journal of architecture in Japan, Transactions of the Architectural Institute of Japan, Summaries of technical papers of Annual Meeting Architectural Institute of Japan, etc. published by the Architectural Institute of Japan
  2. Coverage and number of records
    Data from 1976 to 1990 is covered; approx. 71,000 dissertations.
  3. Main Items
    Title, name of author(s), journal title in which dissertation appeared, year /month, page, classification, etc.
  4. Use of Database
    KENTIKU or KENCHIKU
  5. Note
    Services to the databases created by the Architectural Institute of Japan are provided with the cooperation of the Institute.

    The research papers presented at the Architectural Institute of Japan conferences after 1991 are contained in the "Academic Conference Papers Database (GAKKAI)." Comprehensive searches are possible without regard to the coverage range using the multifile retrieval function (SELDB command).

    Abstracts are not included in this database.

Database of Medical Conference Proceedings in Japan (MCPJ)

    Bibliographic information on proceedings carried in journals, preliminary manuscripts and abstracts of the papers to be presented at conferences of academic societies and research groups pertaining to medical science, health care and pharmacology in Japan.

    Started in 1990; approx. 17,600 records were on hand when the service commenced.

    Name of academic society, date and place of conference, document title, journal title, volume, pages, keywords, etc.

    Since all the original documents of the data contained in this database are held by IMIC, applications can be made for copies of the documents.     Each call to a database: Yen 30

    A further 3% will be added to the total monthly charges for using the databases for the number of times at the above rate per time.
