1993 Survey of Scientific Research Activities
- Interim Report -
NACSIS sent out a survey with the objective of determining the current
state of scientific research activities and revising Directory of
Researchers. We are very grateful for the time that research
establishments and individual researchers took out of their busy schedules
to answer our questions. We intend to issue regular updates to this survey
in the future, and hope that everyone will continue to be so helpful.
Note that the Researchers' Directory has been updated on the basis of this
survey's results and a new version went into service on November 1, 1994.
The current status (as of December 1) is as follows:
Notes:
- Short-term courses provided by universities are included in the statistics on junior colleges.
- The University of the Air is included under National Universities.
- The numbers of researchers surveyed were referenced to a baseline of 100 with respect to the 1992 survey,so some response ratios ended up exceeding 100%.
