Director General INOSE wins IEEE Alexander Graham Bell Medal
Dr. Hiroshi INOSE, Director General of NACSIS, was selected to receive the
1994 Alexander Graham Bell Medal of the US Institute of Electrical and
Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and an award-giving ceremony was held on
Sunday June 19, 1994, in Denver, Colorado.
This award is well known world-wide and is given in recognition of
exceptional contributions to the advancement of communication sciences and
engineering. This is the first time the award has gone to a Japanese
national.
