| To encourage broad use of the Scilab application by students in Japanese universities, colleges or colleges of technology, we are holding the Scilab toolbox contest 2009. |
| ●Object domain: | All fields of the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences are eligible. |
| ●Eligibility: | The student section: Students enrolled in a Japanese university, college or college of technology. The general section: Researchers in education and research institute, company etc. |
| ●Award: | The prize money will be given for an excellent work. The student section:100,000yen to the Grand Prize winner. 50,000yen to the Second Prize winner. The general section:200,000yen to the Grand Prize winner. |
