Outline:

National Institute of Informatics (NII) started up Shonan Meeting at February 2011, and we have had it 13 times. This meeting is the first Dagstuhl* style seminar in Asia, it is getting a favorable reputation as a place of discussion among Top-level researchers in the field of informatics from many countries and obtains a lot of visibility steadily.
In commemoration of the 1st anniversary of this meeting has started, we have "NII Shonan Meeting Memorial Symposium". In this symposium we announce the outcome of this meeting and argue future tasks, and we will contribute to the further development of informatics.
We invite world-famous researchers Prof. Jeffrey D. Ullman (Emeritus, Stanford University), Prof. Robert Anthony Kowalski (Emeritus, Imperial College London) and Prof. Reinhard Wilhelm (Saarland University /Scientific Director of Schloss Dagstuhl). They will make the lectures at this symposium.
We are looking forward to your participants.
*Dagstuhl Seminar: The top-level seminar in the field of informatics in the world, held at Dagstuhl, Germany almost every weeks. They discuss topics of informatics intensively with camp style.
