Poster Preparation Guidelines

Welcome to the Poster Session at Tokyo Symposium for Digital Silk Roads! Please prepare your posters according to the guideline below.


1. Items prepared by the committee
1) Poster Boards
Size: W0.9m x H1.8m (which fit for A0 size paper)
(You may use up to two boards)

2) Table
Size: W1.5m x D0.6m
(You may use it for your equipments, computer, etc.)

3) Outlet
The available electricity outlets are for only 100 volts. There are not outlets available for 200/220 volts appliances. And outlets type is "A".
Please prepare your PCs for this type of electricity on your own.

2. Preparation for the Session
Please come to the registration desk with your poster on December 11, 2001. We will let you know where your poster boards will be for you to prepare your displays. We will provide the tape that you will need for that.

3. Abstract Submission
The abstracts will be issued at the symposium. If you would like to use the same abstract submitted for "Call for Proposal" for this, please let us know by e-mail.

1)Deadline: November 16, 2001 (Friday)
2)The abstract should not exceed 1000 words in English.
Format: Center the title, Name Affiliation and E-mail or mailing address
Title in Bold
Font Size: 12 in Times New Roman
Single column
The abstracts will be printed in black and white. Please keep in mind that we are unable to accept special layout request. We will accept images in black and white photos, but unfortunately, they have a tendency not to come out clearly.

4. Proceedings
The proceedings of the symposium will be issued after the symposium. Please submit the full paper in camera-ready file.

2)The format of the paper will be notified later.
